TUTOR EARNINGS & PERKS
Why you’ll love working here…
Tutor Associates is committed to creating a place where new and experienced tutors can succeed in their careers as 1-on-1 educators. We pride ourselves in the various avenues for growth and development that we have developed since our founding in 2001. Below is a quick rundown of what you can earn, how you can grow, and what benefits you can expect.
WHAT YOU CAN EARN…
TA tutors begin their careers with Tutor Associates at the Professional Level, paid an hourly tutoring rate of $50/hour. Tutors receive a $5 increase to their tutoring rate each year. After their first year at TA, tutors are also eligible for promotions to Expert and Director Level, with increased hourly rates.
Tutors working in person with students also receive an additional $15/hour for in-person tutoring on top of their regular hourly rate.
HOW YOU CAN GROW…
TA Tutors advance their tutoring careers through eligibility for regular promotions. TA Tutors are eligible for promotions after their first year tutoring with Tutor Associates based on performance in the field, capacity at various tutoring levels, and seniority.
Tutors who are promoted to Expert or Director can expect a +$10/hour and +$30/hour increase, respectively, to their base rate. Tutors are analyzed for promotions annually, and have frequent check-ins with staff members throughout the year to give them feedback and insight into their track toward a promotion.
